Issue Position

Utah is consistently in the bottom of the country in per pupil funding. We need improved funding and support for public education, smaller class sizes, and competitive salaries for good teachers. In Utah we value families and we have a responsibility to adequately fund and support our children's schools. We need ongoing support for higher education to ensure a well-trained, highly educated work force that will attract the high-paying jobs of the future to Utah.
